A COFFEE bar has become an informal job centre for people looking for work in West Craven.
The idea at New Road Community Centre, Earby, developed because there is now nowhere local for job seekers to find information about the prospect of work. The nearest Jobcentre is in Colne.
Visitors at the coffee bar on Fridays from 2pm until 3pm use it as a venue for finding work to browse through situations vacant columns in the newspapers and get assistance with filling in application forms.
