THEY'RE back and they're better than ever. This Saturday, May 3, sees the return of the Hot Ice Show to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, with a cast of 26 - including 15 champion skaters, 300 costumes and some of the world's most advanced laser displays.

Once again, the entire production team, headed by producer and director Amanda Thompson, is hoping to beat last year's breath-taking performance - because this year the Hot Ice Show is 60 years old.

And everyone involved believes it will be world class . . . again!

Amanda said: "We endeavour to make the productions more and more spectacular, especially this year as it is our diamond jubilee.

"This year we have our largest cast ever, 15 of whom are world class champions.

"We think we have produced one of the most exciting live shows with speed and thrills built into the choreography."

Another person delighted to be involved is six-times British Champion, Joanne Conway, who leads the cast with five-times Finnish champion Oula Jaaskelainen.

Joanne said: "It is like a dream come true to be involved in such a well-respected production. I'm thrilled to bits."
