HUNDREDS of holidaymakers faced Greek island grief as devastating fires raged on in Rhodes.
The area's travel agents braced themselves for huge cancellation problems as holidaymakers already on Rhodes coped with the brush blaze, which affected the resorts of Pefkos and Lindos.
Tourists were warned that it could be difficult to find alternative holidays in Greece.
