I WAS dismayed to read the criticism levelled at the staff of Ward 5 at Blackburn Infirmary (LET, December 27) as I feel it is totally unjustified.
I was a patient there last year, enduring what was, for me, a very difficult time.
The staff were wonderful in every respect and I would be proud to call them friends and thank them for the help they so willingly gave me.
