FORMER Stonyhurst College student, Iain Balshaw, has been called up to join the full England training squad due to assemble at Bisham Abbey today.
And he should recognise some familiar faces when Clive Woodward's squad meets up because Stonyhurst old boys scrum-half Kyran Bracken and centre Will Greenwood have also been included.
Balshaw and Greenwood are both products of the college's preparatory school, St Mary's Hall.
Scrum-half Balshaw, who plays for club side Bath, is in only his first season as a professional after completing his studies last year.
An eye-catching performance for the England Under 21 side against Wales, when he scored two tries, helped bring him to the attention of the selectors.
He is one of seven uncapped players in the 32-man squad which also features five of his Bath colleagues.
