AN amateur Rugby League club have announced ambitious plans for expansion.
Haresfinch, who are currently preparing a joint bid for lottery funding with their hosts Haresfinch Social Club, are eventually hoping to field junior sides from under 12s right through to under 18s.
At present, Finch have an open-age team in Division Three of the North West Counties League and an under 16s team. Now they are inviting players of all ages interested in joining the club to go along to training nights from 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday (open-age) or Monday and Thursday (juniors).
The club are also looking to field a women's rounders team in the summer.
