A GROUP of clog dancers are heading for Disneyland to show off their talents.

Hyndburn St Mary's Clog and Country Dancers have the chance of a lifetime to dance in Orlando, Florida.

The group has always been keen to dance abroad and had been trying for Australia. But they sent a video of themselves in action to Universal Studios and were lucky enough to be asked to dance for them.

Sixteen dancers, aged between nine - 20, will make the journey, along with their families, to dance at Epcot on the Future World West Stage.

Mrs Theresa Hindle and her daughter Deborah Riley run the club.

Mrs Hindle said they had kept their fingers crossed about being accepted and were really excited about going. The group will be going from March 26 to April 9. They will dance eight times at Disneyworld, Universal Studios and in two hotels during both weeks. Television companies have also shown an interest in their visit.
