A PENSIONER was mugged as she waited at the bus stop outside the Eccleston Arms, Prescot Road, St Helens, at about 6.50pm on Monday.
The robber escaped with the bag and headed towards Downs Road. The 70-year-old woman was not harmed, but a police spokesman said she "was upset by the incident".
