FIREFIGHTERS were called to a bed and breakfast hostel in Blackburn town centre last night when a blaze broke out in a ground-floor bedroom.
The Devonshire Hotel in Bridge Street was evacuated while the fire brigade tackled the blaze at 6pm, but nobody was injured.
One room was badly damaged by smoke and four other rooms were slightly damaged.
