LEADING by example - that was the philosophy of new Burnley Council leader Stuart Caddy when he got on his bike as part of National Bike Week.
A host of activities were planned for national cycle day starting with breakfast outside the central library, the launch of two new hand bikes at the Thompson Centre, free postcoding and a meeting at Burnley General Hospital.
