PARENTS of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity may be interested to hear that the subscription newsletter "The ADD Update" now has a web site.

The editor has been working towards this since the newsletter recently went national after two and a half years of being a regional publication.

Now any parent with internet access and perhaps more significantly, any educational, medical, or social or family worker wanting more information on ADHD can now log on at www.gailmiller.clara.net to learn more.

ADHD, a common but chronic condition, affects a large proportion of school children and its effects are managed by a number of different agencies throughout the child's life.

The main symptoms of hyperactivity, inattention, impulsiveness and sometimes learning difficulties cause educational underachievement, social ineptitude and family turbulence. These symptoms are often taken into adulthood.

Apart from by post, the newsletter can be subscribed to on line by E mail for people who prefer.

For details send an SAE marked 'Update' to: 127 Embleton Road, Methley, Leeds. LS26 9DA.
