I WOULD like to thank all the people, in Pendle and beyond, who donated to the Cancer Research Campaign's recent national Starflower Appeal.
This year is the Campaign's 75th anniversary, and to commemorate this event it was hoped to distribute three million Starflowers nationwide.
The Nelson and Barrowford committee is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year, and we are delighted to have raised the tremendous sum of £1,556.90 through this, our first Starflower project.
