I WOULD like to point out to "all open air events should turn it down" (Letters Aug 13) that I am not against people airing their views but the corespondent is wrong to put the open air concerts in the same category as noisy neighbours.
I, like most people, object to noisy neighbours and feel that the council can deal with such neighbours completely. The Crime and Disorder Bill introduced by the Government will give councils more power to deal with noisy neighbours.
The open air concerts have been a success and a boost for the resort and that is my main reason for disputing the corespondents views.
