KICK-BOXER Dave Wilson is on top of the world.
It follows his success in clinching the International Kickboxing Federation's North West Light Heavyweight title at St Helens Town Hall.
Dave, 23, has been training at the St Helens Martial Arts and Fitness Studio in Tolver Street since it opened in October last year and his efforts paid off as he beat Wirral's Warren Steele in a thrilling fourth round knockout.
This is Dave's second win in as many professional fights, his first coming at a fight in Haydock in June this year, and his instructors at St Helens Martial Arts, Bern and Gary Giam, believe he has the potential to compete on the world stage.
ANYONE wishing to take up kickboxing can contact St Helens Martial Arts Studio on 730051 or call in and ask for Bern or Gary.
