POLICE are searching for two youths, in their late teens, who picked on a 12-year-old boy and his nine-year-old brother.
The two younger boys were walking along West End Road, Haydock, after going to a local store at about 3pm on Thursday, August 13. As they reached the junction with Phythian Street the boys were approached by two youths on bikes.
One of the youths grabbed the nine-year-old boy's arm, prised open his fingers and snatched the £5 note he was holding. The two then rode off on their bikes towards Clipsley Lane.
The youth that stole the money is described as white, 18-20 years, thin build, 5ft 9in tall, with long, black hair. He was wearing a grey Adidas tracksuit and a black jacket.
The second cyclist is described as white, 18-20 years, thin build, 5ft 9in tall with short, black hair. He was wearing a red jacket and grey jeans.
