STUDENTS at a Catholic high school which has just been through its Ofsted Inspection have been praised for their achievements at the annual prize night.
Chairman of governors at All Saints RC High School, Rawtenstall, Coun Alan Fishwick, spoke of the 'difficult year,' but paid tribute to the efforts of the school community to help year 11 achieve their results.
Headteacher Michael Brennan gave a special mention to Thomas Rudman who achieved seven A* GCSEs and two As, and Frances Cooper who achieved five A* and five A grades at GCSE.
He also highlighted the six per cent improvement in the number of pupils gaining five or more A* to C grades and the 100 per cent of A* to G grades.
