BOSSES at The Millstone Hotel, Mellor, have gained a prestigious Investors in People award.
The complex, which includes a restaurant, bar and hotel, is one of eight Shire Inns to qualify for recognition.
The award was presented by the East Lancashire Training and Enterprise Council after interviewing staff from each department.
General manager of the hotel Nigel Sim-Lamb said: "We have always known our people are out greatest asset and have invested in them accordingly.
"Gaining IIP is the seal of approval for us.
"And it confirms that all our staff do understand out business aims and the part that each plays in achieving them."
