A LUCKY prize draw winner is looking forward to a 'grand' shopping spree in Darwen after scooping a bumper festive boost.
A drum roll signalled the countdown to the free drawn, run by Darwen Town Centre Association, which offered a prize of £1,000-worth of vouchers to be redeemed at participating shops.
The Christmas Darren Day also featured a range of special promotions and entertainment for children. The winner was Mrs C Hope, from Darwen.
