LOWERHOUSE could be on the brink of disaster in my opinion after mistakes which include letting about six cricketers rule the club. They should have replaced them from the second team because they let the side down with their batting.

Not re-signing Corrie Jordaan was a big mistake which lost the great following he had established.

They lost members and committee people too who had worked with Lowerhouse all their lives. You can't hurt people like that and expect them ever again to show the same interest in the club, causing membership this year to decrease even further.

I agree the weather, the new rules plus the Jordaan fiasco didn't help.

When we had Corrie we had a chance of winning the league right up until the final match.

After this year's poor results, it would be a catastrophe for a lovely club with great members to go under. I hope not.
