COLNE: Bowlers of a different sort at the town's cricket club could avoid being left in the dark if an improvement scheme gets the green light from councillors.
The club has applied to Pendle Council for planning permission to put up six floodlights around the bowling green at the Keighley Road ground.
The application is due to be discussed by the council's Colne area committee on March 31.
