I HAVE just read on the Internet The Journal article about the new proposed road signs. I think they are a wonderful idea.
As a native of Leigh who moved away 12 years ago (but visits often) these signs would be a welcome sight after a long trip north. It encapsulates what Leigh is about and what makes its people proud.
I hope to see them soon.
