THINKING caps will be needed by four youngsters from Queen Mary School in Lytham who are entering a nationwide chemistry competition.
Top of the Bench is being held on March 6 at the Science Museum in London.
Charlotte Prince, Shelley Beilby, Pamela Hamlyn and Catherine Piercy will pit their wits in a test of chemical knowledge, a research exercise around the museum and a practical challenge.
The winning school will receive a trophy and scientific equipment worth £500.
