ON April 9, I telephoned the Town Hall technical services department at Blackburn to complain about rubbish left in the back street by the refuse collectors.
I again phoned on the following Wednesday to say nothing had been done. Again, on Friday, April 16, I complained and was told that it would be cleared on Saturday.
It is 4.30pm of that day as I write and still nothing has been done.
What has one to do to get a little service from the town hall?
If I did not pay my Council Tax on time, I would soon get a reminder.
