J. ERIC Nolan (letters, May 27) states that others besides himself are asking questions about funds hitherto subscribed for the conversion programme of the Red Brick Theatre, Blackburn.
A great deal of work has gone on in the last 20 years and even as the building stands now, it provides a useful meeting place for local arts groups.
We are to have an open day in July and we extend to all those who have supported us in the past and all those who support us now to come and see what their money has created - A much-needed and well-used space.
And those who have bought bricks and seats under the previous scheme can be reassured that full and careful records have been kept and names will, as promised, be displayed when the theatre is finally opened.
