ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman has made his ninth signing of the summer by snapping up defender James Gedman.

Gedman, who plays at right back, has looked impressive in Stanley's two pre-season friendlies so far.

And that persuaded Coleman to make a permanent move for the 20-year-old former Caernarfon and Witton Albion man. Meanwhile, Stanley still have some places available on their summer soccer school which is set to be staged at the Crown Ground next month.

The three-day school, which starts on August 4, is open to boys and girls aged 7-14 and the cost is just £15.

The club are still accepting bookings up until the day itself and anyone requiring further information or an application form should contact the club on 01254 383235.

Stanley have also unveiled their new first team strip for next season which is thought to be the first in the country to incorporate a club's web-site address.

Hapton-based company Bridge Computer Systems are the club's new sponsors after agreeing a deal earlier in the summer.
