MP Greg Pope backed a Commons motion calling for a Government inquiry into the activities of financial advice company Knight Williams and Co Ltd.
Mr Pope had been contacted by several Hyndburn people, some of them pensioners, who claimed they had suffered loss. He also encouraged other constituents who felt that they may too have suffered to get in touch with him.
