A TATTOOED pervert subjected a housewife to a terrifying sexual attack outside a Morecambe primary school.

Police made a second urgent appeal to the public this week to help them catch the beast after the full horrifying details of the sex attack on a 40-year-old victim emerged.

The original appeal was made soon after the attack on Thursday, July 1. The victim was walking outside Lancaster Road Primary School passing the bus stop at about 12.20am when she was grabbed from behind.

The man forced her to the ground before carrying out a very serious sexual assault on her.

He was 25 to 30 years old with teardrop tattoos under his right eye. He was short with an ear-ring under in his left ear and receding hair.

Michelle Hollywood of Morecambe police commented: "We are making this second appeal because this was a particularly nasty attack and this man must be caught. We need anyone with any information at all to contact us."

Police released details of another attempted abduction at the weekend. That follows the attempted abduction of a three other teenage girls two and three weeks ago although police are not linking this incident.

The attempted abduction took place at Halton Road at about 10.30pm on Saturday night. The 24-year-old woman was walking along near Halton Army training camp when she realised she was being followed a man driving a white Vauxhall Astra.

They had a brief conversation he tried to drag her into the car but she managed to struggle free and escape.

The man was about 6ft, in his mid 30s, medium to slight build and clean shaven. He had dark curly hair and was described as being of smart appearance.

Anyone who can help the police with information about either incident is urged to call 63333.
