A DAY of education, entertainment and enlightenment presented by Lancaster and Morecambe's University of the Third Age will be held at the Platform in Morecambe on August 3. The line up includes a coffee morning and exhibition, an afternoon lecture by Roger Bingham entitled "Lost Resort? The Flow and Ebb of Morecambe" and an evening of traditional jazz by the Lune Valley Vintage Jazz Band.
The day will offer an opportunity for retired people to find out what the University of the Third Age is all about while enjoying a good day out. For tickets call 582803.
