A FULL turnout of teams battled well in the Rossall Sixes League cup competition.

One of the few teams to score plenty of goals were David Halsall FC in Group A, who progressed to the semi-finals with three straight wins and six goals.

Group B included newcomers Spartak Norbreck and ended with them in a tie for first place with Wyvale Warriors - both teams had two wins and a draw.

The penalty shoot-out to decide who went through was won 4-3 by Spartak.

Group C was won by Kings Arms FC who took seven points from their three games.

Group D ended with three teams on four points but Inter Nationals went through by virtue of most goals scored. The first semi-final saw newcomers Spartak Norbreck beat David Halsall FC 1-0 and in the second game Kings Arms FC beat Inter Nationals by the same scoreline.

In the final Sparktak Norbreck took the lead, but eventually Kings Arms came through to win 2-1.

IN Division A of the Rossall Sevens League it's congratulations to Athletico 7 FC who secured the championship with a 5-2 win against Safeway FC.

H&A Club were absent, which gave Autotheme three points from a walkover. CG Neve finish in third place after their 2-1 win against Fleetwood Police, while BISA had an easy 7-0 win against a depleted Warburtons side.

Division B congratulations go to Gravediggaz who drew 1-1 with The Royals which was enough to give them the championship.

Ham Shankers take the runners-up spot, just one point behind their rivals but well ahead of the rest, after beating bottom side Can Stop Dynamoes 3-2 on the night.

Athletico Viagra picked up three points from a walkover when Glynn Webb didn't show up and Fleetwood Fire beat Norfolk & Chance FC 3-1.
