THERE will be a Tower Open Day at St Peter's RC Cathedral in Lancaster on Sunday 22 August between 1 and 4pm. The open day will give visitors the opportunity to admire the views from the Tower Balcony, see the bells in motion, and learn about the English art of Ringing. Entrance is £1.00 for adults (16+), to be paid at the door, and children get in free; refreshments will also be available. For more information, ring Sam Moorhouse on 62911 or John Pye on 65658.
