THIRTY-two Kosovo refugees left Bury yesterday morning, August 12, on the long and emotional return to their homeland.

The party of three families flew from Leeds/Bradford airport to the Kosovo capital of Pristina, following in the footsteps of 11 fellow Bury refugees who have returned to their country in the last two weeks.

The 35 remaining refugees in Bury will now begin transferring from the Geoffrey Kershaw Centre in Cedar Street to their new homes in the borough.
