WORKERS were today due to attend the funeral of a popular colleague who died after a battle against cancer.
Catherine Louise Allman, 28, of Swan Meadow, Clitheroe, died in the Royal Preston Hospital on Thursday. She lived with her parents Les and Audrey and brother Mark.
She worked as a national account credit controller at Initial Shorrock, Blackburn, for three years.
A spokeswoman said: "She will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with her family."
Colleagues have also raised £300 in her memory for the Ribblesdale Suite at the Royal Preston Hospital.
The funeral was due to take place at Clitheroe Parish Church at 12.45pm.
