I HAVE supported North End for nigh on 60 years, attending every match I could and supporting them in every way possible.

I even used some of my wife's legacy to buy shares in the Club several years ago. I hoped that, with the correct management structure in place they would start going places.

But while things have gone on at a pace on the field, which I am pleased about, I have to admit I am appalled with the way the club is being run behind the scenes.

The story in the Citizen last week highlighted my fears when I see an ex-employee has walked off with a handsome sum after being mistreated by the club. As she rightly pointed out, she now has shareholder's money and she is entitled to it.

But the club have some explaining to do.

If they are the professional PLC they claim they are, then how did this happen? I wanted answers, so contact the club on Friday, only to be told the chief executive, who was responsible for this problem, was unavailable.

So they throw away our money and refuse to be accountable.

To me, it stinks.

How much did Peter Church get? How much did the rugby manager get? Why are the monkeys in charge?

Questions need answering if we are ever to have faith in this club again.
