NEIGHBOURS rescued a 23-year-old man from his burning house in Poplar Avenue, Downall Green when a fire started in the kitchen.
The fire was reported at 2am on Saturday, August 28 and caused severe heat and smoke damage in the ground-floor kitchen. Fire crews from both Merseyside and Greater Manchester brigades attended.
