MUSICIANS from around the world visited Morecambe last weekend for the annual worldbeat music festival.
Tourism bosses in the resort hailed the event as a big success after the number of revellers grew by a stunning 30 per cent.
Jon Harris, of Lancaster Arts and Events said "Worldbeat went extremely well, it's one of the best festivals we've done in terms of figures."
Music and laughter filled the streets of the resort and exotic food and goods were available from the stalls which rolled into town.
