A MAN has been charged with assaulting and threatening to kill Lady Muriel Oxford following an incident at her Rainford home earlier this month.
Gary Monks (aged 42) of Derbyshire Hill Road, Parr, who was also charged with aggravated burglary, made his first appearance before magistrates in St Helens on Thursday, August 26 and was remanded in custody for committal on Friday, September 17.
Another man, Robert Gerald Agusta (31) of Newton-le-Willows, will also appear on that date charged with handling credit cards belonging to Lady Oxford.
