A CIVIL engineering group has added to its list of accolades.
DJ Ryan was recently awarded Contractor of the Year title by a water form and has been nominated for another by British Gas bosses.
And the Longridge firm has become the latest East Lancashire employer to achieve the Investors in People standard.
The firm, part of the Allen plc Group, employs more than 600 people. It specialises in 'trenchless technology' where underground pipelines and service pipes can be replaced without the need for open excavation.
Other local organisations to achieve the standard recently include Casterton Primary School, Burnley; Piolax, Burnley; St Cecilia's Roman Catholic High School, Longridge; Thorneyholme Primary School, Dunsop Bridge; Haslingden and Helmshore Credit Union and Millwide Engineering Services, Rossendale.
