MIGHT I add my little story to Elsie Collinge's tale (Letters, August 30) of the funny things children say?
While I was planting a few cuttings in the garden, my little neighbour pushed a feather in as well.
When I asked her why, she said: "Well, we'll get a duck, won't we?"
