I HAVE to disagree with the Bishop's views on soap opera marriages (LET, September 27).
I love to watch marriages in the tale, they always bring back happy memories of my own marriage.
Perhaps he would do better to slam all the muggings, murders, burglaries and all the common law marriages and leave the soap marriages alone.
It is the violence and sex on TV that he should be criticising - it is these things that we should protect our children from.
