A DOCTOR made renewed efforts to set up a permanent medical centre. Dr Gullam Bhat applied to Hyndburn council for outline planning permission for a centre on land at Back Heys, Higher Heys and Fulmar Terrace, Oswaldtwistle. Dr Bhat, who had temporary permission to work from premises in Rhyddings Street, had been trying for more than a year to find a permanent base.
