NEWCOMERS Hoddlesden Con Club made it five wins out of five in the Darwen Hotels League when they beat Uncle Jack's 6-2, and are going to take some stopping on this form.
Oggy haven't faced any really tough opposition, however, and tonight will see just how good they are when they travel to the Punch.
Top Con B, well fancied for the title that has long eluded them, had a good 6-2 win over Cemetery B team. Champions Cemetery A continue to blow hot and cold. This was a hot week; an 8-0 thrashing of Top Con A which followed defeat against their own B team, which in turn followed another 8-0 win.
Other games tonight: Top Con B v Top Con A, Cemetery A v Borough B, Borough A v Alexandra B, Anchor v Cemetery B, Uncle Jack's v Prince. Alexandra A have an open date.
