LANCASHIRE Under-19s hope to keep their Northern Counties semi-final hopes alive when they take on Cheshire at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School on Saturday (kick-off 10.30am).
The county's senior schoolboy side have already beaten Merseyside 2-1 but they went down 6-2 to West Yorkshire in their other Northern Counties group match.
And that means that Lancashire will have to beat Cheshire on Saturday if they are to stand any chance of making it into the last four of the competition.
Lancashire's last group match against Greater Manchester has been fixed for Monday, January 17 at Stanley Park, Blackpool (kick-off 7pm).
