AN urgent meeting was held to try to save a dream trip to Nigeria for Helmshore student Melody Chapman.
She won the prestigious Thwaites Travel Scholarship but her elation turned to sorrow when she was told sanctions made it unlikely she would get a visa because she lived in South Africa as a child.
