LOCAL lads Martin Horton and Mike Woods (Thatto Heath), Darren Mitchell (Blackbrook), Peter Cahalin, Wayne Bloor and Matt Reynolds (Haydock) all starred in BARLA Lancashire County Open-age victory over Yorkshire at the Boulevard, Hull.
Cahalin had an outstanding game, scoring a try and topping the tackle count. County captain Bloor also had a hand in a couple of tries.
Lancashire now need to beat Cumbria at Blackbrook on Sunday February 20, kick off 2pm to retain the County Championships.
