A FUND-RAISING group in Pendle is looking for new members to help with its campaign to boost a national charity.
The Pendle Friends of the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust presented the charity's area appeals manager, Linda Crawford, with a £5,000 cheque at Nelson Town Hall with the help of the Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Edwina Sargeant.
The money was raised during a variety of fund-raising events over the past 12 months. Anyone interested in helping raise money can contact secretary Barbara Speak on 01282 604271 or treasurer Maureen Blackwell on 01282 851083.
