THREE German apprentices have been welcomed to an East Lancashire factory.
BAE Systems at Samlesbury is playing host to the workers from German aerospace giant Dasa as part of an exchange programme between the companies.
The programme, backed by the Government, is aimed at developing closer links between companies and giving apprentices the chance to experience differing manufacturing techniques and cultures.
"We've really enjoyed our time over here at Samlesbury and working on Eurofighter has been a great experience," said Andre Westphal, one of the apprentices.
Earlier this year BAE Systems apprentices Martin Bridges, Martin Cross and Stuart Boothby spent three weeks based at Dasa factories in Germany.
"It was a tremendous experience going over to Germany and working on different projects," said Stuart.
