A TYLDESLEY school is in 'tune' for a £3,000 cash award.
Fred Longworth High School will receive the cash from the Barclays New Futures scheme to create a community brass band.
At least 30 students will be involved in the band, alongside members of the the local community of all ages.
And non-musicians will be given the chance to play an instrument and become part of the band.
Once the band is formed, one of the objectives is to perform a concert in the summer of next yea.
