NEW Leigh coach Paul Terzis couldn't be happier with life.

Just one week into the job, he said: "The club is everything I'd been told it was. Professional on and off the field and totally committed to raising it's standards."

Now he has had time to work with his senior squad, Terzis is delighted with the quality at his disposal.

"I'd been told something of the talent available," he added. "But I'm only now fully realising the enormous potential we have here.

"Players like Stuart Donlan and Mickey Higham are outstanding young talents and it's easy to see why they are envied elsewhere.

"Then there's Tim Street and Dave Whittle, who give us a great platform, while Simon Baldwin, Heath Cruckshank and Adam Bristow give us strength and options across the park.

"The leadership Andy Fairclough gave us last Sunday was right out of the top drawer and the prospect of really getting stuck into coaching the squad is an exciting one."

Terzis is confident he will have a fully-fit squad available for Sunday's home game against second bottom Sheffield Eagles.

He said: "Sheffield might have lost eight straight games while we've won nine on the bounce. But we'll be treating them with respect." LEIGH'S Trans-Pennine Final against Dewsbury next Wednesday has been made all-ticket. Leigh's allocation is just 1,000.

They go on sale to season ticket holders, LISA, Lifeline and Travel Club members at noon on Saturday in the Mick Martyn Suite.

Any remaining tickets go on general sale at 10am on Monday, also in the Mick Martyn Suite. Tickets are priced £7 (ground) and £8 (seats).
