FOUR shivering guinea pigs were dumped in a cardboard box on the doorstep of an old folk's home.
And they might have died if a lady had not stumbled across them in the rain as she walked her dog.
The dog would not pass the box and on closer inspection she found the terrified guinea pigs huddled inside.
