WHATEVER sport you follow, it appears there is corruption, bribery, match fixing and drug taking at the highest level -- football, athletics, horse racing and the latest fiasco of cricket.

It's certain millions of pounds have been lost or, rather, conned from honest people who pay dear for the privilege of attending, viewing the spectacle or have been lost in the betting shops .

The sporting bodies have to clean up their act, or it may filter down to minor sports -- championship marbles, draughts, conker contests.

Ridiculous, I know, but is one form of cheating any different from any other.
